Multiples

I work with multiple exposures and mixed media—layering old film strips, vintage photographs, charcoal, and my own images. For a long time, I questioned why I was adding more to the page when I wanted less in my life.

I’ve realized that these layers aren't about accumulation, but about sifting.

In these pieces, the layering is a way of seeing through. By stacking fragments of time and texture, I am looking for the quiet thing that survives underneath the clutter. It is an attempt to look through the present and through the past to find something that remains still and true.
